CEO, Peter Bowen Guest Blogs on Event Industry News

CEO of Access Displays, Peter Bowen discusses the rush towards a social media utopia and its similarities to the Klondike Gold Rush during the 1890’s.

A sample of the article can be found below:
The rush towards a social media utopia has been likened, in some marketing circles, to the great Klondike gold rush in the late 19th century. The promise of instant wealth for many of those prospectors turned out to be a pipe dream. A few made it rich, but tens of thousands endured bitter cold and deprivation, to return with nothing but debts and frostbite.

Some marketers have been swept up in this kind of herd behaviour, believing that if their competitors are actively pursuing social media, they should be too, whether they have the expertise or not. But if social media success was that easy then surely everyone would have struck marketing gold by now?

Display panel hire for NHS Trust Transformation Team
We pride ourselves on our fast and efficient hire service, so when Matthew Quinn of the NH
S Trust Transformation Team contacted our sales dept. on 5th Feb, with a problem, we were ready to help.

Matthew had no display panels for an event the following day and was looking for enough kit to display 22, A1 posters.

Full details were taken and a quote for the supply of our panel and pole system (with 900mm x 600mm panels), including timed delivery, installation and breakdown was quickly arranged. This was signed off by the client, in due course, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Matthew Quinn – business review.
“Absolutely fantastic service, extremely prompt, helpful and with a very good phone manner. The service was great, we gave very short notice for a relatively large order and they were able to oblige even with the congestion in London being truly dire. I was very impressed with how quick they were able to get up into town.

The delivery and installations operative was very polite and efficient in getting the displays up under a tight deadline. In terms of the product, I was pleasantly surprised with how sturdy they were and how easy it was to attach the posters.

Great service, great product, will definitely use again in the future.”
